Vinson s Pecan Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. CRUST: Prepare crust for two 9-inch pies
  3. Line pie pans with crust
  4. Set aside
  5. FILLING: Remove cap from bottle of syrup and heat in a small saucepan of water
  6. In a mixing bowl, place eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and hot syrup
  7. Stir thoroughly
  8. Pour filling equally into unbaked pie shells
  9. Put 3/4 cup pecans into each pie
  10. Dot 1 tbs
  11. of margarine on top of each
  12. Place pie pans on jelly roll pans and place in oven
  13. Bake for 1 hour
  14. Let cool
  15. Serve hot or at room temperature
  16. Store in refrigerator
