Bereiding

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt & sugar
  2. Separate eggs
  3. Beat egg yolks; add milk & beer
  4. Add chopped pecans & dry ingredients & mix just enough to blend
  5. Add melted butter
  6. Allow batter to stand overnight to permit fermentation of beer
  7. Just prior to baking waffles, beat whites of eggs until stiff & fold into batter
  8. Pour enough batter into waffle iron so that waffle will rise & contact entire surface, browning evenly
  9. Bake & serve
